Ok, so my friend Judith posted this link on Facebook... I think I took this test back in highschool but for the life of me, I can't remember what I scored... pretty cool. Here's my updated score:

Long time, no post

Hey, sorry for being MIA lately. Combined with the thesis (which is finally submitted - woohoo!), I have gotten myself hooked on Facebook... sigh, another form of procrastination... but super cool. If you haven't signed up, check it out. I've managed to connect with people I have talked to in over 10 years and it's been fun.

On another note, I got a really weird (but oddly cute) kitty pic sent to me last week... pretty appropriate for my blog, eh? :)

My Favourite Super Bowl Ad...

So this year's ads during the big game weren't all that impressive, in my opinion. But there was one that I laughed at, particularly once I re-watched it again online. If you haven't seen the ads from Sunday's game, go to www.cbssportsline.com/superads and check out all of them.

My favourite is the FedEx ad in the 3rd Quarter. Sorry, I still haven't figured out how to just plunk it into this blog... technology is tough! I was also going to do one of those "voting" things on here, but again, I don't know how to do that either. Guess I'll have to learn all of that techy stuff when I have time afer my thesis is done.

... the countdown begins (again, something else I'd like to add to my blog - a countdown feature, just like you Bill!)... D-Day is now only 2 months away...

Pretty cool bike tricks

This video reminds me of past skating performances... well, maybe not quite but some moves do resemble the spread eagles we had to practice over and over... :)

Kesler's out... will the slump begin?

I know he's only one player, but news from Vancouver says that Ryan Kesler's out with hip surgery for the rest of the regular season. Here's the article from the Sun:

Vancouver Canuck centre Ryan Kesler needs hip surgery and will be lost for 12 to 16 weeks, which essentiallly puts him out for the season unless the Canucks go deep in the playoffs.
The Canucks announced today that Kesler will undergo the surgery Monday in Denver.
“After further consultation with one of the leading physicians with regard to hip injuries it was decided that surgery was the best course of action,” Canuck general manager Dave Nonis said in a news release. “The best long term decision for Ryan and our hockey club was to have the surgery immediately.”
Kesler had only six goals and 10 assists in 48 games this season but was a prime penalty killer on Vancouver’s top ranked man-short units.

Only one man, but a significant part of the team particularly one of the better defensive forwards ... let's just put more pressure on Luongo to stop the pucks. :( Boo.
